Arc Flash Awareness

This Arc Flash Awareness course is designed to provide workers with an introduction and basic understanding of the provincial regulations in addition to the CSA-Z462 Standard and NFPA 70E requirements.

Asbestos Awareness Training

Asbestos Awareness

The Asbestos Awareness course is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the dangers of asbestos, asbestos-related illnesses, safe work procedures, legal requirements and the different types of asbestos including where they are commonly found.

This course will cover the required personal protective equipment, medical surveillance and notification requirements.

Confined Space Entry Training

Confined Space Entrant & Attendant

This Confined Space training course provides participants with training on both the role of the Entrant and Attendant. This training will cover all applicable regulations concerning Confined Space Work, the required documentation, personal protective equipment, rescue planning/equipment and the hazardous atmospheres.

Participants will develop an understanding on the atmospheric testing requirements, common toxic gases they may encounter in a confined space and the importance for rescue plans/teams.

H2S Survive ™ – Hydrogen Sulphide Certification ©

This certification training course provides all workers with extensive knowledge and training to identify potential hazards when working in and around Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) industries.

This course provides workers who may work or perform work in a setting where Hydrogen Sulfide H2S can pose an immediate danger to life and health (IDLH). Any exposure to Hydrogen Sulphide can be dangerous to your health and potentially life threatening.

The Legislation requires all employers to provide adequate training to all workers that could be potentially exposed to any chemical hazards. Every employer shall take all measures reasonably necessary in the circumstances to protect workers from exposure to a hazardous biological or chemical agent because of the storage, handling, processing or use of such agent in the workplace.

  • R.O. 1990, Reg. 833, s. 3 (1). Occupational Exposure Limits (OELs) are regulatory values which indicate levels of exposure that are safe (health-based) for a chemical substance in the air of a workplace.

Hydrogen Sulphide H2S is an extremely toxic gas, produced when performing various scopes of work processes in many industries throughout the world. Some of these industries are below, but not limited to;

International Hand Signals

This course is designed to provide signalers and crane operators with instruction on the standard regulated hand signals for the hoisting and rigging of cranes. Lock Out Tag Out Process

This course is designed in compliance with CSA Z460-13 “Control of Hazardous Energy – Lockout and Other Methods” , to provide participants with an understanding of the different forms of hazardous energy, the applicable regulations and the required steps to be taken as per the CSA standard. LOTO-01 will inform participants of the responsibilities for Lock Out and Tag Out, when it is required, workplace policies and how LOTO protects workers.

Transportation of Dangerous Goods

This course is designed in compliance with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and Regulations. Section 6.1 of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations states that a person who handles, offers for transport, or transports dangerous goods must be adequately trained and hold a training certificate.
This training covers the transportation of dangerous goods by air, marine, rail or road.
TDG-01 will provide participants with the thorough knowledge and understanding of the legislative requirements, required documentation, Schedules 1-3, classifications, Shipping names, UN Numbers, safety marks (labels,placards), means of containment, emergency plans and reporting requirements.
Participants will receive training on the safe handling and transport procedures, characteristics of dangerous goods, emergency response assistance plans (ERAP), fines/penalties for offences and the measures to be taken to eliminate the risk to public.
