Broderson Mobile Crane Operator 0-8 Tons
Course Code: BMCO-01
This course is designed to provide workers with the necessary knowledge, skills, and training to perform mobile crane operations safely. Participants will receive training on mobile crane safety including the general operating procedures, in addition to hazard identification, applicable legislation, hand signals, facility design and the safe work practices.
This modular training program is for persons operating any mobile crane with a lifting capacity of 0 to 8 tons including any of the following crane types: articulating (knuckle) boom, telescoping boom, derricks , and industrial-type cranes.
This training program is a combination of in-class training and practical worksite training. In order to qualify for this operator certification, the operator/trainee must pass the classroom training and written test as well as pass a demonstration of skills such as operating the mobile crane, rigging for safe hoisting, and demonstrating standard hand signals.
This course complies with the applicable CSA Standards.

We encourage all participants to dress comfortably, however Paramount Safety Consulting Inc. strives to maintain a professional learning environment. Therefore, to uphold this standard and ensure all participants are able to partake in the required training activities, we ask that all participants wear work appropriate clothing such as denim/work pants with clean shoes for the theoretical training, and CSA approved work boots, Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Tearaway Vest for the Practical Operator training.
All other learning materials will be provided; however, participants may choose to supply their own paper pad/note book for notetaking.
