Course Description:

Upon successful completion of this training course, you will be able to:

  • Understand your legal role and responsibilities as a workplace first aider.
  • Assess an emergency scene and a victim using the “Check, Call, Care” method.
  • Perform CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on an adult, child and infant.
  • Manage life-threatening conditions like choking, severe bleeding, and shock.
  • Provide first aid for medical emergencies (heart attack, stroke, seizure, diabetic emergency).
  • Identify and treat injuries (wounds, burns, bone/muscle injuries, head/spine injuries).
  • Respond to environmental emergencies (heat stroke, hypothermia, poisoning).
  • Apply infection control principles and use personal protective equipment (PPE).

Course Time Duration: 

  • First Aid – Intermediate CPR/AED (FACPR-01) Training Course – New Participant
  • Theoretical & Practical Training – 2 Days
  •   16 Hours – In Class Instructor Led Training
  •   Must Achieve 75% Passing Mark

First Aid Intermediate CPR/AED ( 2 – Day Training Certification) 

Course Information:

This First Aid – Intermediate CPR/AED training course is designed to educate workers on the fundamentals of performing First Aid | CPR as well as the importance of following safe work practices and programs. The objective is to ensure all participants gain the knowledge and skills to perform First Aid CPR in either a medial or critical injury.

This course is designed to apply the most comprehensive methods to provide First Aid to an injured person in the event they become injured and require medical assistance prior to going to a medical facility or Approved by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB).

This program is aligned with the CAN/CSA Z1210:24 – First Aid Training for the Workplace – Curriculum and Quality Management for Training Agency’s. This program is in compliance with R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 1101: First Aid Requirements.

” We offer the First Aid Program in English. Any other languages are subject to aquiring a registered or qualifed Translator, registered with our firm prior to training schedule.”

Certificate: 3 year, Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR Level C/AED.

Class Format: This course is completed entirely in-class, lead by a qualified training instructor certified and approved by WSIB

Certification Period:
Certifications are valid for three years (3 Years) from the date of issue.
