H2S Survive ™ – Hydrogen Sulphide Certification ©
This certification training course provides all workers with extensive knowledge and training to identify potential hazards when working in and around Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) industries.
This course provides workers who may work or perform work in a setting where Hydrogen Sulfide H2S can pose an immediate danger to life and health (IDLH). Any exposure to Hydrogen Sulphide can be dangerous to your health and potentially life threatening.
The Legislation requires all employers to provide adequate training to all workers that could be potentially exposed to any chemical hazards. Every employer shall take all measures reasonably necessary in the circumstances to protect workers from exposure to a hazardous biological or chemical agent because of the storage, handling, processing or use of such agent in the workplace.
- R.O. 1990, Reg. 833, s. 3 (1). Occupational Exposure Limits (OELs) are regulatory values which indicate levels of exposure that are safe (health-based) for a chemical substance in the air of a workplace.
Hydrogen Sulphide H2S is an extremely toxic gas, produced when performing various scopes of work processes in many industries throughout the world. Some of these industries are below, but not limited to;
