Course Overview

Paramount Safety Consulting Inc. provides Skid Steer Operator Certification Training in a classroom based training environment which covers the theoretical and practical portion along with a written evaluation to prove due diligence.

This course sets out to ensure operator competency. Employers are responsible for keeping workers are up-to-date on required training for operating equipment. We recommend that operator training be part of a larger comprehensive safety program, developed in consultation with the Joint Health and Safety Committee or the health and safety representative that includes the following elements:

General operating procedures
Daily Operator Circle Check
Start up Procedures
Equipment Shutdown Procedures
Information on workplace protection and worker’s rights
Hazard identification
Training (of both operators and those working near lifting devices)
Safe Operating procedures
Skid Steer accessory  selection criteria

Certification:

• Successful Participants receive laminated certificate card.
• Employer receives record of training.
• Valid for 3 year from Date of Issue
• Registered number assigned to Certification Card
